In Oak class we celebrate success at every level. We encourage the children to be enthusiastic about their learning and develop a desire to achieve by promoting learning that is active and purposeful and encourages children to embrace challenge and celebrate success.
We teach children the importance of responsibility, and strive to develop confident and resilient learners who are respectful of themselves and of others.
Home Learning
Home learning information is provided each week in the Weekly newsletter and can be found on Google Classroom. Our focus is on embedding learning and applying skills that have been learnt in class.
Reading
We are keen readers in Oak class and love to share our current book, recommend texts to each other and read aloud in class. Reading at home is actively encouraged and pupils should have their current reading book and reading record in school each day.
