We are increasingly concerned by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and by the number of people that have had unfortunately lost their lives, been forced to flee their homes, or have become separated from families. This is why we have decided to fundraise for the British Red Cross in conjunction with our sister school, All Saints Marsh Academy, and support and stand with Ukraine. Ukraine is a country of 44 million people. We’ve decided that we’d like to aim big and not just complete a 44 mile sponsored run (or walk), but a whopping 440 miles(!) in one week across each school. In Dunsford, we have so far raised £700.86 for this great cause and we have walked, run, cycled and swam 481 miles! All Saints Marsh Academy, has raised £290 and they walked 140miles! This is amazing and we are blown away by our community spirit and the commitment to help those in need! Thank you!
